Wednesday April 1st: Bologna Airport/Parma
Arrival at Bologna Airport in the morning and private transfer to our first destination: Parma. Check in at 5 stars hotel in Foligno, free time and welcome dinner, all together, in a selected restaurant in Parma.
Thursday April 2nd: Parma/Montecchio/Parma
This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, you will enjoy the historical guided tour of Parma with our English-speaking tour guide. After the walking tour, we will move to the countryside, visiting a beautiful winery, the vineyards, the cellar, learning about the wine production and tasting lunch in the company. After lunch, we will come back to the hotel and you will be free to relax at the hotel or discovering the city and its food on your own.
Friday April 3rd: Parma/Collecchio/Langhirano/Parma
After breakfast, we will visit a cheese farm, where the delicious Parmigiano Reggiano cheese is produced. You will discover the company, will learn about the production, the aging and, after the visit, you will enjoy a nice cheese tasting. After the cheese farm, we will move to a Prosciutto Company, where you will discover the production of the delicious Prosciutto di Parma and tasting lunch with the producer. Following we will come back to the hotel and you will be free to relax at the hotel or discovering the city and its food on your own.
Saturday April 4th: Parma/Marano sul Panaro/Bologna
Today, pack your bags and, while you have breakfast, Attavola staff will collect your luggage to move to Bologna, the Capital of the region. Before reaching the city, we will make a stop in the Modenese countryside visiting a beautiful balsamic vinegar company, for an interesting visit, learning about the production of balsamic vinegar from the land to the final product. After the visit, you will enjoy the lunch with the producer, pairing different balsamic vinegars in each meal. Following, we will reach Bologna, check in at 4 stars hotel downtown in Bologna, free afternoon and dinner on your own.
Sunday April 5th: Bologna
This morning, after breakfast, you will have an historical guided tour of Bologna, including the visit at the local market and pasta producer, called “sfoglina”. After the guided tour, you will be free to discover the city on your own, until evening, when, all together, will have dinner in a typical bolognese osteria.
Monday April 6th: Bologna/Maranello/Modena/Bologna
This morning, after breakfast, our direction will be Maranello, to discover the Ferrari world! First, you will visit the Ferrari Museum of Maranello. After the visit, from there, we will move to the Autodromo of Maranello, close by to the museum, for an amazing experience: the road test drive! You will drive a Ferrari car, with a professional co-pilot next to you, in the Modenese roads for 20 minutes, coming back to the Autodromo at the end of the drive. For people who don’t want to try the experience, they can enjoy the shopping area or the free simulator inside the Autodromo. After the test drive, we will move to Modena, lunch all together in a selected restaurant and, after lunch, our English-speaking tour guide will wait for you for a beautiful guided tour of the city. A little free time after the guided tour and, then, we will come back to the hotel, enjoying a free evening in Bologna, discovering on your own the city and its typical food
Tuesday April 7th: Bologna/Comacchio/Ferrara/Bologna
After breackfast, we will reach Comacchio, a nice village in the North-East side of the region, called “little Venice” for its channels that remember Venice. Free walking in the village and lunch, all together, in a selected restaurant. After lunch, we will move to Ferrara, for an interesting guided tour of the city, free time after the guided tour and dinner on your own in Ferrara.
Wednesday April 8th: Bologna
Today you cook! After breakfast, we will go in a professional kitchen for our cooking class: a professional chef will work with your group and you will be responsible for preparing traditional Emilia Romagna meals. You will start, learning about local ingredients. Then the chef will assist you in the preparation of the dishes.Cooking class lunch, after the preparation of the dishes. Free afternoon relaxing at the hotel or packing your bags. Group dinner in a selected restaurant.
Thursday April 9th: Bologna/Bologna Airport
After breakfast, transfer to Bologna Airport.
