Brindisi Airport/Marina di San Gregorio
Arrival at Brindisi Airport in the morning and private bus transfer to the 4 stars hotel in Marina di San Gregorio, a nice village by the sea, overlooking the Ionian Sea. Check in at the hotel and free time. At dinner time, all together, will enjoy the welcome dinner in a selected restaurant.
Marina di San Gregorio/Miggiano/Gallipoli/Marina di San Gregorio
After breakfast, will go to Miggiano to visit a local olive oil producer, including a stroll through their historic olive groves… will be amazing to walk around trees of more than 700 years old! After visiting the company and their meal, we will have a tasting lunch with the producer. From there will come back to the hotel. In the afternoon will reach Gallipoli, free evening, walking and shopping in this beautiful village by the east coast of Salento area and dinner on your own.
Marina di San Gregorio
Today you cook! After breakfast, we will visit an Agriturismo, where local people grow all kind of vegetable and we will walk around the beautiful property. Over lunch time, we will have a tasting lunch with this genuine food. After lunch, we will move to an ancient building, for our cooking class, discovering the ancient recipes of the region. Local people will work with your group and you will be responsible for preparing a traditional Puglia meal. You will start in the morning learning about ingredients. In the afternoon they will assist you in the preparation of the dishes. At dinner time, will enjoy the cooking class dinner.
Marina di San Gregorio/Tricase/Marina di San Gregorio
After breakfast, will visit a local winery in Tricase, discovering local wine varieties. Over lunch time, you will enjoy a professional tasting wine and tasting lunch with the producer, paring their wines with local food. In the afternoon you will have free time to relax, enjoying the pool at the hotel or the beach and dinner on your own in the village.
Marina di San Gregorio/Otranto/Lecce
Today, pack your bags and, while you have breakfast, Attavola staff will collect your luggage to move to Lecce, the capital of the region, called “the Florence of the South”. Before reaching Lecce, a nice stop in Otranto, the most eastern city of Italy, with free time and lunch on your own. After lunch, we will move to Lecce, check in at the 4 stars hotel, located downtown in the city, surrounded by restaurants, shops and bars, you will have free time in the afternoon, walking, shopping and enjoying the city and dinner on your own.
This morning, after breakfast, you will enjoy the beach and the sun in Torre dell’Orso, an amazing beach area, where the water is fantastic. In the afternoon, transfer back to Lecce, for an interesting guided tour of the city with our English speaking tour guide, including the visit at lime stone and cartapesta masters. After the walking tour, you will have lunch on your own, free afternoon and free night in Lecce, discovering the city and the food of Lecce on your own.
Today, after breakfast, you will enjoy your free morning in Alberobello, discovering the beautiful and typical “trulli” of Alberobello. A nice walking around the typical houses and lunch on your own in the village. After lunch, will come back to the hotel, free afternoon until evening for our group dinner in a selected restaurant in Lecce.
After breakfast, transfer to Brindisi Airport.
