Cagliari Airport/Cabras/Oristano/Cabras

Arrival in Cagliari Airport in the morning and private bus transfer to our first hotel in Cabras. Check in at 4 stars hotel and free time, relaxing and unpacking your luggage, before meeting all together at night to reach Oristano for our welcome dinner in Sardinia!

Cabras/Tharros/Oristano/Cabras

After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit a Bottarga producer in Cabras, learning about this fabulous Sardinian product, and tasting lunch, pairing the Bottarga with local food. After lunch we will move to the city of Tharros, exploring this 8th Century city and take a guided tour archeological site. After the historical tour, transfer back to the hotel for a short break, before heading back into Oristano for a free evening, enjoying the city and its food on your own.

Cabras/Olzai/Zeddiani/Oristano/Cabras

This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, we will have an early departure to the town of Olzai. We’ll dive into the local cheese culture, visiting a small artisan cheese farm, where local producer works with sheep and goat milks to produce cheese. Together we’ll learn about their production, farming practices and enjoy a lovely tasting lunch together. After lunch, we will move to Zeddiani, visiting a local Myrtle and Grappa producer, very traditional in Sardinia, with an interesting tasting. This evening you will be free to relax at the hotel or in Oristano and dinner on your own.

Cabras/Bosa/Alghero

Today, pack your bags and, while you have breakfast, Attavola staff will collect your luggage to move to our second destination: Alghero, a beautiful town located in the Norther-Western coast of the island. Before reaching our location, we will stop in Cuglieri, for a visit to an olive oil producer, who works with a local variety of olive called Bosana. A beautiful stroll through the olive groves, following an olive tasting, learning the proprieties of this great product, and we will continue our way, reaching Bosa, an amazing village, where you can walk on your own, over lunch time. From Bosa, we will reach Alghero, check in at 4 stars hotel and free time. This evening we will meet all together to know the city center of Alghero and enjoy the dinner in a selected restaurant.

Alghero

This morning, after breakfast, you will enjoy an historical guided tour of Alghero, with our English-speaking tour guide, discovering this ancient town. After the walking tour, we will visit a nearby wine producer, knowing the vineyards, the wine cellar and enjoying a nice tasting lunch with the family, pairing their wines with local food. After lunch, we will make our way to one of the most important archeology sites in the area, Complesso Nuragico of Palmavera. During our visit you will enjoy a private guided tour. After the guided tour, we will come back to Alghero for a free evening enjoying the town on your own.

Alghero/Thiesi/Sassari/Alghero

After breakfast at our hotel, we will move to Thiesi for an interesting visit at a local pasta producer, learning about the whole production, from the grain to the final product, then a nice tasting lunch with the producer, enjoying the pasta! After the pasta visit, we will move to Sassari, the second largest city of the island, after Cagliari, and one of the oldest one, where you will enjoy an historical guided tour, with our tour guide, who will show you the beauties of the city. We will go back to the hotel in the early evening where you will have the opportunity to relax and have dinner on your own in Alghero.

Alghero/San Gavino Monreale/Cagliari

Today, pack your bags and, while you have breakfast, Attavola staff will collect your luggage to move to our last destination: Cagliari, the capital of the region. On our way, before arriving to Cagliari, we will stop in San Gavino Monreale to visit a local saffron farmer. You will learn and understand how hard and meticulous the whole production is, everything by hand. After the walking visit, we will enjoy a tasting lunch in the farm, then we will continue our way to Cagliari. Check in at 4 stars hotel in the city, free evening, discovering the city on your own.

Cagliari

This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, you will meet our tour guide, for an interesting guided walking tour of Cagliari, discovering the history and amenities of the city. After the guided tour, you will be free to relax at the hotel, or go to shopping, or explore the city and local food on your own.

Cagliari

Today you cook! After breakfast, we will go in the kitchen for our cooking class: a professional chef will work with your group and you will be responsible for preparing traditional Sardinian meals. You will start, learning about local ingredients and regional cuisine. Then the chef will assist you in the preparation of the dishes. Cooking class lunch after the preparation of the dishes. In the afternoon, you will have some free time to relax or for last shopping or pack your bags, before meeting al together for our group dinner in a selected restaurant.

Cagliari/Cagliari Airport

After breakfast, transfer to Cagliari Airport.
